1. Description of Service

FinBrain is a personal and business financial intelligence platform designed for transaction aggregation, statement parsing, deterministic ledger maintenance, and automated categorization. FinBrain is an organizational software tool; it is not a chartered bank, depository institution, payment gateway, broker-dealer, or regulated investment advisory service. FinBrain does not hold customer funds, process peer-to-peer money transfers, or execute bank transactions on your behalf.

2. No Financial, Legal, or Tax Advice

All calculations, categorization recommendations, recurring spend projections, and AI-assisted summaries provided within FinBrain are for informational and organizational reference only. Although FinBrain executes deterministic integer arithmetic to ensure precision, outputs do not constitute professional accounting, financial, tax, or legal counsel. You remain solely responsible for validating figures prior to filing taxes or making investment decisions.

3. User Obligations and Lawful Use

By using FinBrain, you represent and warrant that:

• You possess lawful ownership or explicit authorization to upload and analyze all financial statements, CSVs, and documents provided.
• You will not upload polyglot files, malicious scripts, executable binaries, or content intended to disrupt platform stability or compromise system integrity.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your authentication credentials and enabling available multi-factor protections.

4. Proprietary Rights and Data Ownership

You retain 100% ownership of your raw financial documents, normalized transactions, and custom classification rules. OSM Digital retains all rights, titles, and interests in the FinBrain software, user interface design, algorithms, documentation, and brand assets.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall OSM Digital, its directors, officers, employees, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.
